About the Role:
- Part of the Girl Boss Rise Campaign, a 3-module program designed to equip adolescent girls with essential skills, foster entrepreneurial mindsets, and empower them to take control of their futures.
- Responsible for training and mentoring on-ground facilitators (Girl Boss Advisors/GBAs) to effectively deliver the program.
- Will co-facilitate/independently facilitate the multi-day GBA training in Hindi.
- Will assist in conducting focus group discussions/interviews with adolescent girls and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting focus group discussions or interviews to understand current opportunities, needs, and barriers faced by adolescent girls and their parents.
- Co-facilitate/independently facilitate the 3-day GBA training in Hindi for the Girl Boss Rise Campaign in two rural locations.
- Ensure GBAs complete necessary pre-training and post-training activities and assessments.
- Attend Lead Trainer training sessions to acquire skills for facilitating GB Rise training sessions with new GBAs and assisting in FGDs and interviews.
- Provide feedback on training and insights on GBA skills to the LG team.
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of previous training experience.
- Strong facilitation skills, high energy, and ability to motivate and engage participants.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Hindi communication skills (training will be conducted in Hindi).
- Ability to travel to remote locations and stay for the duration of the training.
- Previous experience in fieldwork and direct engagement with target beneficiaries in a not-for-profit/development sector.
- Creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Critical thinker and proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work individually and collaboratively with flexibility, enthusiasm, efficiency, and diplomacy.
- Commitment to Launch Girls' vision and values.
- Passion for global gender equity and improving the lives of adolescent girls.
Location: North India, willing to travel to remote locations in North and East India.
Duration and Start Date:
- 2-month project-based contract.
- Start date will be determined upon candidate selection.
- Potential for contract extension based on performance and partnership status.
Compensation:
- INR 40,000 one-time payment at the end of the project.
- All travel, stay, and food costs during the training will be covered.
