Parinaam Foundation
About the Organisation
Parinaam Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide a holistic approach to alleviate poverty. We were conceived in 2006, with the vision to create sustainable change that will have an impact on the poor and lead them to live a better life. Parinaam caters to the needs of the poor, by providing them critical social services. We provide services in the areas of healthcare, education, livelihood, and community development.
Today Parinaam operates across 20 States. At Parinaam, our focus is on making real change on the ground. Parinaam aims to break India’s vicious cycle of generational poverty through holistic interventions focused on social development and financial independence for the underprivileged. Through innovation and on ground interventions we have touched the lives of over a million unserved and underserved families across India.
Program Details
Parinaam’s Academic Adoption Programme is designed to transform the lives of children by providing them access to high-quality education in English medium schools through academic scholarships funded by sponsors and to become economically empowered citizens of tomorrow. Through the program, we support the direct education cost of the children as well as support them through other interventions in the areas of education, financial literacy, access to financial services, healthcare, and social support. Our program includes the entire family as we help the parents with livelihood, healthcare, and access to financial services. We have enrolled over 1500 children through this program and plan to expand to 6000 children in the next two years.
