Urban Ethnographers is a boutique development consulting firm specializing in advisory support for social enterprises, NGOs, governmental organizations, universities, and policy research institutes. Our focus spans social development and public policy matters.
We are seeking an immediate joiner with a commerce background to join our team as an Instructional Designer. In this role, you will work with our content development team, gaining extensive experience in instructional design, learning and development, and research within the social sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop Course Materials: Create curriculum documents, session plans, and course overviews for various programs.
Conduct Market Research: Identify current skill requirements and trends across sectors to inform content design.
Design Interactive Content: Develop engaging materials, such as scenario-based learning (SBL), case studies, and interactive videos.
Assessment Development: Formulate questions for formative and summative assessments in training programs.
Create Training Materials: Prepare Content PPTs, trainer and participant guides, and project handouts for Short-Term Training (STT) programs.
Develop Self-Learning Resources: Produce materials for the app-based online learning platform.
Create Learning Aids: Design infographics, quizzes, games, and activities for e-learning purposes.
Content Review and Realignment: Update existing learning materials to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Train the Trainers: Conduct training sessions for facilitators of various STT programs.
Video Production: Create video content with voiceovers for training sessions.
