JSW Foundation
Job Summary:
The school education system in India faces several significant challenges, despite various efforts to improve it. While enrollments have improved in urban areas, rural areas still face these issues. Quality of education remains a critical bottleneck and the lack of it manifests later on in the vocational and tertiary education levels, leading to disenchantment and lack of job placement, quality of life and overall outlook towards the country, society and households. Hence any piecemeal approach towards only infrastructure or teacher capacity building or only EdTech tools as pedagogical solutions will not suffice.
