About the Organization
The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals, and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.
Our journey to enable 25 million Indians out of ultra-poverty, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover, and more.
Set up with support from 100+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates, and 15+ foundations including Gates, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC, Mphasis, KPMG, L'Oreal, we are contributing towards a "poverty-free India, within our lifetime.
About the Engagement Team:
The Engagement team at The Nudge helps in nurturing the right talent to meet the organization's and program's objectives. By being part of this team, join us on a unique opportunity to build engagement for one of the largest programs of the organization which is solving one of the toughest problems in India i.e. enabling rural livelihoods.
About the Rural Livelihood Program:
Economic Inclusion Program (EIP) is solving for households in extremely vulnerable states through a targeted, multi-faceted, and sequenced model involving cash transfer and care, which has demonstrated that poverty can be conquered.
The Asha Kiran(AK) program aims to catalyze impact at scale by partnering with the private sector and government, to implement livelihood interventions for women in poor households.
At Nudge, you will:
● Develop a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy for the Rural Livelihood Programs
● Conduct need assessment to build capacity towards employee growth and development
● Analyze trends and key engagement metrics for the Rural Livelihood Programs
● Build and execute employee engagement experience (onboarding, R&R design, culture, and value sessions) for the Rural Livelihood Programs
● Drive people processes & work with the Rural Livelihood Programs team in the capacity of a people business partner
● Work closely with employees to build morale and increase productivity and retention
● Lead end-to-end impact stream (Rural Livelihood Programs) level events like Townhall, All/hands, offsites, and any other need-based events or spaces
● Engage in monthly/quarterly people reviews for the team
Apply if you have:
● 3-5 years of overall work experience
● Excitement to solve people's challenges and build culture within the organization
● The ability to effectively communicate, understand, and empathize
● The ability to collaborate & maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
● The ability to be emotionally resilient and have a high sense of integrity
● The ability to analyze data – comfort with Excel and PowerPoint
● The ability of high execution and operational skills
Would be great if you have:
● Prior experience in Human Resources or people management
● Educational background in Human Resource
