Director- Social Research Services

Objectives of this role

  1. Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth
  2. Maintain positive professional relationships with clients 
  3. Use evaluation and social research techniques to improve business
  4. Monitor the business progress to ensure that our goals are being met 
  5. Track all business-related invoices 
  6. Manage all the deliverables of the project

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Masters/Postgraduate in Public Health, Population Studies, Social Sciences, Statistics, Rural Development, Management, or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  2. Experience in the monitoring and evaluation field/Social Research, handling large-scale data, data management, and analytical skills.
  3. Good understanding of Social Research concepts and methodologies.
  4. Experience in managing a team.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse stakeholders.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  10. Strong ownership and ability to collaborate with multiple teams to deliver output.
  11. Ability to work with minimal supervision, while also proactively and regularly communicating progress updates and bottlenecks requiring attention or support from leadership.
  12. Action-oriented, flexible approach and problem-solver, with an ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
