Institute for Human Development (IHD)
The Institute for Human Development (IHD) is seeking applications for the position of Director at its Eastern Regional Centre (ERC) in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The applicant should be an acknowledged scholar in social science working on the broad themes of human development and will be appointed in the category of Associate Professor/Professor.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership and strengthen the activities of the Centre
- Mobilise resources through projects and other activities to support the Centre’s growth
- Plan and organise seminars, conferences, and training programs as required
- Oversee the administration, including accounts and legal compliance of the Centre
- Work Closely with IHD, New Delhi Office
Reporting to: Director, IHD, New Delhi
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Social Sciences
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Recently superannuated Researchers and Professors are welcome to apply
- Strong leadership, research, and team-building abilities preferred
Salary: Negotiable
Nature of Assignment: Contractual (initially for a period of three years)
