Job Description
The Director of Human Resources at Bhumi should be a People leader who will own and implement the organisation's talent management strategy for employees, fellows and volunteers. They will collaborate with other directors and managers of both program and platform teams to drive and enable sustainable outcomes.They will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities to build a highly motivated team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Talent Management Strategy related to staffing, recruiting, engagement, development and retention, aligning with the organisation's culture, values, goals and strategy
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource strategy and compliance needs
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring, onboarding, and succession planning
- Effectively collaborate with, challenge and influence program / platform teams to deliver the right outcomes on people-related decisions, focusing on a variety of aspects such as Value alignment / behavior, Meritocracy, Productivity, Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing
- Identify, prioritize and develop organizational capabilities and behaviours to build a team that is value aligned, highly effective and future-ready through structured learning & development initiatives, coaching, mentoring, etc..
- Develop talent to ensure a high-quality succession pipeline at all levels that focus on the high performing and high potential individuals
- Continuously review the organisation structure and relevant operating models to align these with the overall program strategy and organisation design principles, using all available data to assess effectiveness, demonstrating proactively in surfacing and securing resolution to points of misalignment
- Facilitate the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health, safety and wellbeing; and training and development.
- Implement and conduct research and analysis of organisational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organisation's human resource information system (HRIS)
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Experience in strategy and managing HR team
- Experience working in Non profit sector will be added advantage
- At Least 5 Years experience managing HR team at senior level
