Compensation - 5.90 - 8.80 LPA (inclusive of EPF & Medical Insurance)

Our goal is to empower students from marginalized backgrounds in India. To achieve scale we use technology with AI and NLP-powered WhatsApp chatbot to build co-curricular electives to nurture creativity, self-confidence, and problem-solving abilities. 

Our flagship WhatsApp Chatbot, TAP Buddy, offers electives such as Visual and Performing Arts, Coding, STEM, and Financial Literacy.

Currently, TAP is impacting over 34,000 students across ten states in India. TAP students display a 2x improvement in creativity and a 74% improvement in self-confidence. In 2024-25, TAP aims to work with 100,000 students across multiple states through various government partnerships.

Key Job Areas

Assist in growing and delivering TAP Development Strategy and Planning

  • Support the CEO to define long-term organizational strategic goals
  • Assist in creating pipeline strategy for TAP
  • Support the CEO to maintain and leverage the funder network
  • Research on new trends with a view to developing new approaches and campaigns

Business Development 

Events and Fundraising:

  • Identify collateral needs (e.g. publications, video, online communications, mailing materials) to support TAP fundraising activities. 
  • Undertake Direct Marketing campaigns, crowdfunding campaigns including mail and online appeals. 
  • Set up, coordinate, and organize fundraising events for TAP.

CSR: 

  • Identify opportunities and potential tie-ups that will bring in revenue, support, and funds for TAP. 
  • Plan persuasive approaches, campaigns, and pitches that will convince potential donors. 
  • Generating clear and compelling written communications for key external audiences, including the preparation of donor proposals, concept notes, reports, high-stakes emails, PowerPoint presentations, and other communications to inspire prospective donors to support TAP. 

Individual Donors (HNI): 

  • Assist in developing the pipeline of new donors coming into the organization through cold calls, meetings, etc. 
  • Research and identify prospective HNI donors and support the CEO to present TAP and its work to secure high-level donations. 
  • Support the CEO to convert them into confirmed donors and strengthen relations with existing donors. 

Donor Stewardship

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for long-term and high-potential donors (CSR, Foundations, and Individuals). 
  • Deepen existing partnerships by curating bespoke engagement, donor delight, and branding opportunities. This role would require an advanced understanding of the organization to articulate the need and challenges authentically to donors to build partnerships, catalytic to scaling TAP programs and initiatives. 
  • Develop a renewal strategy grounded in a deep understanding of the interests and priorities of existing funders as well as of the interests and priorities of TAP. 
  • Assist the CEO to build key Donor relationships and provide support as required. 
  • Work with the Communications Team to develop a strategic approach to the supporter experience. 
  • Manage donor communications and engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any field
  • 3+ years of relevant full-time work experience, preferably in fundraising, partnerships, and network-building
  • B2B Sales / Business Development experience preferred
  • Background in Investment Banking is an added advantage

Compensation is provided at par with the sector benchmark for this position in alignment with the individual’s prior experience and qualifications.
