Job Profile
As a Deputy General Manager - Volunteer Management, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, developing, and managing our employee volunteering programs across India. This role also involves securing financial sustainability through fundraising efforts, building strong donor relationships, and ensuring the success of our employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Volunteering Program (EVP) Planning:
- Execute the annual employee engagement plan, both virtual and in-person, in collaboration with corporate donors.
- Design volunteering activities that align with corporate CSR objectives.
- Financial Sustainability and Fundraising:
- Secure financial support through various channels including:
- Corporate partnerships via employee volunteering.
- Individual donors.
- Foundations and grant opportunities.
- Government grants and programs.
- Online crowdfunding and peer-to-peer fundraising.
- CSR grants.
- Sponsorships and partnerships.
- Fundraising events and campaigns.
- Regional Volunteering Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage volunteering activities across different regions of India.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with Magic Bus standards.
- Donor Relationship Management:
- Foster strong partnerships with donors.
- Act as the custodian of donor relationships, ensuring effective customer relationship management (CRM) practices.
- Data and Analytics:
- Maintain and analyze data related to program progress.
- Monitor and track engagement sessions as per the annual EVP plan.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 10-15 years in managing and developing employee volunteering programs and fundraising in the nonprofit sector.
- Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of CSR laws, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to engage and inspire corporate volunteers.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for program monitoring.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
