Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator/Associate to join our Admissions Team. This role is pivotal in providing backend support, ensuring the accuracy of internal systems, and facilitating smooth communication with prospective students. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Management
- Manage and oversee the admissions portal, ensuring timely processing of student applications.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure complete and accurate application reviews.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of applicants and admissions statuses.
2. Communication & Student Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing timely and helpful information regarding application procedures, deadlines, and program details.
- Coordinate and assist with virtual and in-person events such as open days, webinars, and campus tours to engage prospective students.
3. Lead Generation & Outreach
- Assist with lead generation activities such as social media campaigns, college fairs, and webinars.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that admissions information is effectively communicated across all platforms.
- Support outreach efforts to targeted colleges to boost applications.
4. Application Review Support
- Coordinate the application review process, ensuring that admissions deadlines are met and files are complete before reviews.
- Collaborate with the interviewers and the selection committee during the selection process, scheduling interviews, and follow-ups.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in compiling reports on application trends, acceptance rates, and student demographics for the leadership team.
- Analyze data from recruitment campaigns to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
6. Event Planning & Coordination
- Plan and manage logistics for recruitment events, orientation sessions, and other admissions-related programs.
- Work closely with the Student Life and Academic teams to ensure a seamless admissions experience for new students.
7. Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure that all admissions processes comply with the college's policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in higher education admissions.
Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
● Prior experience in admissions, student services, or education administration is preferred.
● Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM systems.
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
● A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
