employability and career development into the mainstream education narrative.
We believe that education which does not lead to social and economic progress is
incomplete – and hence employability and aspirational careers need to be accessible to all young adults across the socioeconomic spectrum.
Antarang Foundation builds key employability skills in disadvantaged youth in urban low-income settlements. Through two structured programs, Antarang guides students on career choice, trains them in core employability skills, and connects them to employment opportunities of their choice.
About the role:
The Researcher will be responsible for the design, data collection, analysis, and report writing of quantitative and qualitative studies. Specific areas of responsibility include analyzing available program and research data, identifying trends, patterns, and insights. The role also involves analyzing available longitudinal data to track changes over time and understand long-term impacts. Additionally, the role requires use of predictive analysis techniques to understand relationships within the data and predict future trends. This is a short-term position for an initial duration of six months, with the possibility of extension based on successful delivery and performance.
Responsibilities:
● Undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis of the available research data to
better understand trends and make recommendations
○ Design, plan, and execute research projects
○ Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
○ Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and publications to share
findings.
● Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing research findings, methodologies,
and implications
● Support in developing and implementing program research plans (quantitative
and qualitative)
● Ensure research complies with ethical standards and organizational guidelines
Profile Requisites:
● MPhil or Master’s Degree (Economics/Statistics)
● At least 2 years experience in the field of research
● Proven experience in designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative
research studies
● Demonstrated expertise in statistical, predictive, and longitudinal data analysis
● Experience with software tools such as R, Python, SQL, and STATA is preferable
