GDi is an impact-driven start-up committed to transforming the lives of individuals and communities for an equitable and inclusive world. We work in partnership with governments and impact-oriented organisations to design and execute large-scale development programs in domains like education, agriculture, environment, skill development, digital service delivery, and health. In less than 4 years since our founding, we've grown to become a 60+ member team working across 20 projects with 10 state governments and 5 central government ministries/agencies, as well as several strategy projects with large NGOs and philanthropies.

Key Responsibilities 

As a Consultant, you will work in a team of 3-5 consultants to play an active role in all aspects of outcome delivery. In this client-facing role, you will regularly engage with senior leaders across political, bureaucratic, and philanthropic arenas, enhancing your leadership acumen and broadening your professional connections. You will get a high degree of ownership of your work to identify the problem (diagnosis), strategize the solutions (design), and support the implementation (execution). Typically, you will work on: 

1. Diagnosing complex challenges by breaking down the problem statement and analyzing data sets to identify gaps and design effective solutions. 2. Brainstorming with your team and partners to problem-solve, plan, and decide on the deliverables and next steps. 

3. Participating in field visits and interacting with partners/beneficiaries to gain first-hand insights and understanding of their needs. 

4. Managing stakeholders by attending meetings, discussing progress, and aligning program objectives and next steps with them. 

5. Engaging in organisation-building activities and leading new initiatives within the organisation. 

6. Supporting the implementation of large-scale government initiatives impacting crores of lives 

Required Competencies

Location 

The base location for all selected candidates is New Delhi. Depending on the project, significant time will be spent at project locations (generally state capitals). Frequent travel to meet various officials within/outside Delhi/client location will be required.

Selection Process

3. Shortlisted candidates appear for a case interview with a senior leader at GDi 4. Shortlisted candidates have an interaction with a GDi team member and appear for a final case + fit interview with the CEO
