About the India Mental Health Alliance

The India Mental Health Alliance (IMHA) was set up by Founding Trustees Vasvi and Ashish Bharat Ram, in partnership with leading mental health organisations Amaha and Children First.

IMHA exists to bring together people to curate knowledge, and facilitate learning and collective action in mental health. We are enabling the creation of a cross-sectoral Alliance for strengthening the mental health ecosystem, and working with communities and mental health professionals on strengthening capacities to deliver care.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our goals and implement it across various online and offline platforms.

● Ensure all content adheres to IMHA’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and voice.

● Create and publish diverse digital content, with an emphasis on crafting engaging, visually appealing web pages that offer a rich experience for donors and visitors.

● Manage the creation and distribution of email campaigns, collaborating with internal teams to gather content.

● Oversee the digital execution of engagement campaigns throughout the year, including email, website, and social media.

● Design and execute online and offline campaigns for significant dates, themes, and priority content.

● Manage online and offline media advertising campaigns and promotions, monitoring results to optimise targeting and segmentation.

● Facilitate engagement opportunities for the Board and Senior Management with key stakeholders and various platforms.

● Contribute to the overall digital content strategy and manage a content calendar that includes upcoming topics, news, milestones, and external opportunities.

● Coordinate and support communications projects, outreach initiatives, and related tasks as required.

● Ensure our website is updated and optimised.

● Oversee PR and outreach to enhance IMHA’s presence in media, including print, broadcast, and events. Ensure alignment with overall communications goals and engage with media outlets to secure coverage.

● Manage internal and external communications efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms and media channels.

● Plan outreach initiatives that engage communities and stakeholders through events, workshops, and partnerships, both online and offline.

Requirements

● Bachelors or Masters degree, with minimum 5 years of experience

● Knowledge of best practices for writing and publishing on different platforms (especially LinkedIn and Instagram)

● Experience in publishing content on WordPress or other CMS.

● Software Skills Desired – WordPress; SquareSpace; MailChimp or similar email service provider; Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

● Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills.

● Must be a creative and strategic thinker with good judgement and ability to make independent decisions in a changing environment.

● Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

● Ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines.

● Understanding of the mental health space and familiarity with key stakeholders

● Execution-oriented mindset with strong project management

● Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities

● Fluency in English and Hindi

● Curiosity, empathy, and an eagerness to learn

This is a full-time role based in Delhi NCR.
