Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Consultant to
enhance our online presence and engage with our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in social media management, website upgrades, and content creation, with a strong understanding of LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with
our brand goals.
o Create, schedule, and post engaging content on LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.
o Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments and messages promptly.
o Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Website Upgrades:
o Enhance website functionality and design.
o Ensure that website content is up-to-date, informative, and aligns with current marketing initiatives.
o Optimize website content for SEO and user experience.
Content Creation:
o Produce high-quality, engaging content (graphics, videos, articles) for social
media and the website.
o Write and edit copy for various platforms, ensuring brand voice consistency.
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant topics into content.
Reporting & Analysis:
o Regularly report on social media and website performance metrics to assess the
effectiveness of strategies.
o Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with the programme team to align messaging and campaigns.
o Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for content and
engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications with at least 6 years of experience.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) and best practices.
- Experience with website management and content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
