Saarthak Development and Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a full-service communication agency based at New Delhi, India. Since its inception 20 years ago, the agency has managed assignments for client organizations including international NGOs, technical assistance agencies, bilateral and government bodies. The assignments include development of communication strategy, design of communication materials, production of communication materials including print & audio-visual and media placement. The organization is currently in WFH mode. However, team members are expected to be based in Delhi NCR and available to join office or client meetings as may be required.
Overview of the position
Saarthak seeks to hire a communication specialist to manage client engagement and work closely with execution teams to ensure outputs are delivered as per client expectations in a timely manner. The position would be responsible to manage ongoing communication projects, as well as acquisition of new clients and projects to achieve quarterly and annual business goals. In addition to engaging with clients, the role would involve a close and continuous coordination with project execution team members that include visual designers, copywriters, illustrators, film studio personnel, etc.
Along with managing ongoing communication projects, a significant aspect of the role would entail acquisition of new clients and projects to achieve quarterly and annual business goals. The position is designated as Account Manager and reports to the head of the communications team.
Key position responsibilities
- Managing clients and project requirements, and business development as key responsibility areas.
- Managing communication projects including communication planning and creative design for multimedia campaigns, program documentation, advocacy, branding, film production, website development, social media management etc.
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop creative strategy and development of communication materials.
- Working closely with external partners such as film production agencies, illustrators, and print-production units to ensure effective fulfillment of assignments.
- Prospecting new clients and developing pitch proposals and presentations.
- Supporting to develop new product-service solutions.
Candidates suitable for this position:
- Any graduation or post-graduation, preferably in mass communication, developmental studies, social work, or business administration.
- 3-5 years of work experience in managing social communication assignments in advertising/communication firms for clients in development sector such as national level NGOs, international NGOs, or technical assistance agencies.
- Prior experience of business development would be an advantage.
- Familiarity and experience in participating in design and execution of digital campaigns.
- Good at working on MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and knowledge of Hindi.
- An aptitude for detailed planning and taking charge, learning new things, and applying them.
- Ability to interact with clients and respond to requirements including good presentation skills.
