What You Will Be Doing:
- Keep everyone safe by continuously improving the practices, policies and behaviours that underpin a safety culture.
- Designated Safeguarding Lead for the centre.
- Set the highest standards of behaviour across the setting consistent with the HEART principles.
- Coach the highest levels of performance form every member of the team.
- Deliver world class customer service aligned to local customer expectations.
- Ensure high quality care and education maintain internal “green” audits and external good excellent or outstanding regulatory assessments.
- Optimise budgeted ROS.
- Deliver and exceed budgeted occupancy levels.
- Have up to date knowledge of early education and childcare quality standards and ensure compliance with these at all times including sound pedagogical knowledge ensuring staff provide effective teaching and learning.
- Develop and execute your nursery strategy to outperform people, quality, and growth KPI’s.
- Attend Client meetings as required.
- Spend v budget, Salary increases, and fee increases within budget.
- Internal promotions, appointment/removal of staff.
- Thresholds identified through the Authorisation Matrix for Centre Directors.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Early Years Qualification at L3 or above
- Early Years Degree Desirable
- Excellent Business Acumen
- Performance coach
- Excellent analytical skills
- Attention to details and works to high standards,
- Planning and strategy skills
- Up to date with regulatory requirements
