Job Description:

The Role requires a mix of Project Management experience with hands-on BA experience. Expectation is to have knowledge of business intelligence tools, analyst processes and skills, and project management experience to be able to drive cross-functional initiatives with different business verticals and generate insights using excel/ VBA, AI tools, Business Intelligence & Data Visualization tools.

Responsibilities

●      Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Engage in advanced data analysis to uncover trends and correlations. Current state research, data gathering, analysis and modelling. Utilize statistical methods and tools to drive insightful recommendations for business strategies and process improvements.

●      Reporting and Dashboard Development: Develop reports and dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI. Focus on creating user-friendly and efficient data visualizations to support business decisions.

●      Data Mining and Query Optimization: Perform data mining from a variety of sources. Write efficient queries with minimal post-processing needs, handling large datasets, and ensuring data fidelity through triangulation techniques.

●      Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments including program, product, legal, and tech teams. Understand team needs, validate experiments, communicate complex insights effectively, and manage stakeholder relationships through cadences and mechanisms.

●      Process Improvement and Automation: Continuously improve and scale data processes. Drive initiatives for automation in collaboration with engineering to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.

●      Project & Event Management: Ensure project management excellence, handling timelines, resources, and deliverables. Make business recommendations and influence stakeholders. Organize round tables and collaborative events to engage stakeholders and drive narratives.

●      Research & Strategy: Participate in designing strategic goals, priorities and operating processes. Conduct landscaping studies and primary & secondary research both independently and with research partners on funding ecosystem, partner competencies, NGO programs and government and policy initiatives. 

Requirements:

● Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

● Highly Analytical aptitude and skilled in Excel (including VBA, array functions, power pivots, etc.), SQL, and Python

● Proficient in BI tools like Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI

● Excellent interpersonal collaboration and ability to influence without authority

● Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills

●   Proficient in strategically planning and prioritizing business processes/ requirements and translate them into data solutions            

Work Experience:

● Total experience of 7+ years in relevant roles at startups or high-growth organizations

● At least 5+ years of experience doing business analysis AND 3+ experience doing project management

Educational Background:

● Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related technical or quantitative fields

● Certified in Data Analytics
