Role Description
This full-time role as Assistant Vice President-Client Acquisition at The Policy Exchange in Delhi, India involves overseeing direct distribution operations. Responsibilities include managing distribution channels, driving sales strategies, focusing on acquiring and managing high-net-worth individual investors interested in portfolio creation, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize distribution efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the direct sales team to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, leveraging existing networks and developing new leads.
- Portfolio Customization: Collaborate with our financial analysts to design and present tailored investment portfolios based on client needs and preferences.
- Market Expertise: Stay updated on market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes relevant to portfolio management.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and ongoing business opportunities.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop sales team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in direct distribution or sales leadership roles
- Strong understanding of the BFSI sector and insurance market dynamics
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in direct sales within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of success in acquiring and managing high-net-worth clients.
- Network: Has an established network of investors interested in portfolio creation and management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate teams and drive performance.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective distribution strategies.
- Strong analytical abilities to understand and discuss investment performance metrics, economic trends, and client portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
