Since 2013, Antarang Foundation has been one of the leading voices in bringing
employability and career development into the mainstream education narrative. We believe that education which does not lead to social and economic progress is
incomplete – and hence employability and aspirational careers need to be accessible to all young adults across the socioeconomic spectrum.
Antarang Foundation builds key employability skills in disadvantaged youth in urban low-income settlements. Through two structured programs, Antarang guides students on career choice, trains them in core employability skills, and connects them to employment opportunities of their choice.
About the role:
The Assistant Manager, Programs ensures the smooth implementation of Antarang’s set program goals and as per Program design. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic colleague who can work with a variety of stakeholders, drive the achievement of all our program objectives and is passionate about fostering a culture of collaboration, communication, and empowerment to build and sustain an engaged team committed to achieving our collective goals.
Responsibilities:
Operations and Logistics (70%)
- Ensuring school/student/stakeholder related data is accurately collected and
maintained as per requirement - Identifying requirements for Tech system/ process document
- Regular process checks
- Facilitator Allocation, Reallocation
- Facilitator query resolution
- Vendor Management
- Ensuring materials are utilized optimally and ensuring every student, facilitator
receives the required materials on time, accurately for smooth program delivery - Monthly payout and related queries
- Co-creating process documents, updating the documentation based on learnings
- Track batch start, batch progress, student attendance- strategize based on
which schools have slow progress - Ensure 100% data accuracy and ensuring timely data uploads
Stakeholder management and Partnerships (30%)
- Meetings with existing/ new stakeholder for MoU's, drafting the MoU and it's
terms - Build Stakeholder investment in the Program and its objectives
- HM observation and feedback form- creation and tracking, gathering insights,
Collecting stakeholder testimonials - School/College visits (HM conversations)
- Ensuring that Facilitator queries are escalated to required authorities whenever
required - Seeking partnerships that meet Antarang's criteria
- Ensuring regular conversations with on- ground partners to build relations and
ensure smooth program implementation - Maintain relevant documentation for the partnership, follow ups with the partner/ internal teams
- Classroom observations to monitor quality
Profile Requisites:
- Graduate with 4+ years of experience relevant work experience
- Has 1- 2 years of experience in team management/people management
- Excellent communication: Fluency in English is mandatory
- Good analytical, training & coaching skills and an understanding of culture
- Complete ease in using the Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel within the city/across cities as and when required
- Someone from Nagaland would be preferred
