Job description
1) Planning and designing Agri Livelihoods programmes jointly with teams in all CSR locations
2) Support teams in developing business plans for FPOs and other Agri programmes
3) Conduct value chain assessments of various crops to identify gaps and develop recommendations on how to improve the selected value chains and maximize impact.
4) Supervise and monitor the implementation of crops value chain activities with a focus on improving crops productivity, processing and input-output market enhancement.
5) Providing on and off farm technical support to teams as per the need especially
6) Facilitating linkages , convergence and partnerships with various likeminded stakeholders
7) Bringing in new learnings, ideas and innovations to further strengthen the programme
8) Periodic review and monitoring of the programme
9) Timely reporting and documentation
Educational Qualification
1) Under graduation in Agriculture or Masters degree in Agriculture /Horticulture/Forestry from reputed Agriculture Universities
2) Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in the development sector
Required skills and qualifications
1) Strong knowledge and understanding of livelihood development concepts and strategies.
2) Proven experience in designing and implementing Agri livelihood development programs.
3) Familiarity with Central/State Government policies and programs related to livelihood development.
4) Experience of working with FPOs, development of business plans, value chain analysis, business development, market linkages
5) Experience of working on productivity enhancement and value chain of crops like Paddy, millets , Groundnut, Maize, Chilli, Mangoes, oranges ,vegetables etc
6) Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
7) Strong analytical and research capabilities.
8) Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
9) Proficient in monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
10) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11) Strong organizational and time management abilities.
12) Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant software.
