SayTrees
About SayTrees:
SayTrees Environmental Trust is dedicated to building climate-resilient communities in both urban and rural areas through a set of contextualized solutions. Since its inception in 2007, SayTrees has implemented large-scale afforestation, water conservation, and clean energy initiatives spread across 15 States and UTs.
In rural areas, SayTrees supports rural livelihoods by promoting climate-resilient agroforestry initiatives, social forestry, water conservation, and introducing clean energy solutions like solar-powered cold storage and biogas units. Through these efforts, SayTrees fosters existing farm livelihoods, builds climate adaptation and mitigation tools and addresses deeper challenges including climate-induced crisis, socio-economic resilience, contributing to carbon sequestration, biodiversity, and sustainable development. Over the next decade, SayTrees envisions impacting 10 million hectares of land masses and livelihoods, directly or indirectly.
