About the organization

Good Neighbours, an international humanitarian organization, is seeking a Global Grant and Partnership Coordinator to enhance its ability to secure and manage grants, fostering key partnerships to drive sustainable development globally. As an organization committed to human rights and self-reliance, Good Neighbors operates in over 50 countries, aiming to eliminate poverty and hunger while promoting harmony and equality across vulnerable communities.

Founded in 1991, Good Neighbors focuses on Child Rights and Protection, Education, Health, WASH, Food Security, Nutrition, Economic Empowerment, Humanitarian Assistance, and Climate Change. The organization’s holistic approach empowers over 200 communities globally, providing life-changing social and economic development initiatives.

The Global Grant and Partnership Coordinator will be pivotal in researching grant opportunities, managing proposals, and developing partnerships at Good Neighbors’ headquarters. The role requires the candidate to collaborate with regional teams and grant management offices, ensuring the alignment of goals and strategies with the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Grants Opportunities Search: Conduct weekly research on the latest trends in major donor partnerships and share opportunities across country offices.
  • Proposal Development: Coordinate grant processes, including writing, reviewing, and editing proposals. Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and provide capacity-building support.
  • Grants Management: Monitor active grants, track progress, and manage relationships with key partners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Partnership Development: Expand Good Neighbors’ network by researching potential partners and facilitating collaborations with multilateral and bilateral agencies, such as the UN, USAID, and the EU.
  • Administrative Support: Develop grant-related policies and procedures, participate in fundraising strategies, and represent the organization at global humanitarian events.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in international relations, development studies, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in grant management and partnership development within the humanitarian or development sector, including experience with agencies like USAID or the EU.
  • Proven success in proposal writing and securing bilateral and multilateral grants.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Desired:

  • Expert knowledge of grant application procedures and regulations for global partnerships.
  • Experience working at the headquarters of an international NGO is highly desirable.
