WHO ARE WE
Instituted on August 16, 2016 Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited mandated with the responsibility of executing CSR for Tata Steel. A Section 8 company, TSF is a rapidly growing multilocational organization spread across Orissa, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Punjab, Delhi NCR with over 1500+ people and presence in over 14 units. With a vision to create an enlightened and equitable society, we are committed towards playing a larger role in India’s sustainable development by embedding wider economic, social, and environmental objectives through its programmes.
Location of Posting: Meramandali, Odisha
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (Renewal on a yearly basis)
Reporting Relationship: Administrative reporting to Unit Lead and functional reporting to Lead Gender & Community Enterprise.
Key Deliverables:
- Enabling women leaders in the proximate areas from diverse backgrounds to have to have an effective voice in the community.
- Creation of successful women entrepreneurs in the proximate area by collaborating with different partner agencies.
- Development of microenterprise for the socio economic development of the excluded communities.
- Strengthening social institutions.
- Enabling change-makers in the proximate areas from diverse backgrounds to have to have an effective voice in the community.
- Continuous engagement with different stakeholders and community driven collaborations.
- Ensure financial integrity & track implementation progress of empowerment programs.
Minimum Qualification:
- For Assistant Manager : Graduation (Social Work/ Rural Development or equivalent).
- For Manager : Master's degree or equivalent (Social Work/ Rural Development or equivalent).
Minimum No. of years of experience: 0-3 years for Assistant Manager, 3+ years for Manager.
Behavioral Skills Required:
- Ability to engage across stakeholder groups, peers, and communities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and sensitive to diversity.
Technical Skills Required:
- Project Planning, Management.
- Digital ability is a must; adept in computer literacy, dexterous with MS-Office.
- Financial Management in relation to CSR guidelines and constitutional framework.
- Good drafting skills in relation to community development-related project proposals.
- Good communication (English, Hindi, and Local language), interpersonal, and negotiation skills are also essential.
